OVERVIEW
The main difference between men and women when it comes to throwing is the weight of the implement. The only time they almost match up in weight is when they are on a youth team. Sports really treat the men and women differently. The rules of some games change and even in co-ed track and field they have competitions for men and women. The only even where both men and women run at the same time is long distance 1 mile and 2 mile in high school. Also, there are some long distance relays which they run together. But for throwing, they are always seperate.
